4. Equality in Research

Reid-Howie Associates will strive to ensure that the views of disabled people, women, people from minority ethnic groups and other groups which might experience exclusion are sought and included fairly in any research which is undertaken and that these views are used to help to inform the conclusions which are reached. This requires the use of translated information and interpreters, as necessary, and the provision of material in other formats for disabled people. Where public meetings or focus groups are arranged, these will be held at venues which are suitable for people with a range of impairments, including wheelchair users.
